It was all about Tokyo this year.
MUJI USA and Uniglo stores just landed in SOHO and the MoMA Design Stores
were months ahead in planning a product exhibition launch for new and fetching Design objects and tees and totes fresh from Japan.

were months ahead in planning a product exhibition launch for new and fetching Design objects, tees and totes fresh from Japan.

I was inspired by the robot- era Gundum characters when designing the merchandise fixtures which became a focal point for the presentations. Its sparse colors on all white angled surfaces and graphic silhouette was tailor made for good merchandising.
